Our refined tastes were constantly threatened when we entered our favorite store. The snack sticks were greasy, and some had scary and hairy animals trying to pitch things too us. We desired to be charmed. We yearned for a better experience, so we created the Courteous Jerk. It's a brand that tastes great and is made with ingredients we trust. Who doesn't appreciate a cow that smokes hickory?
Courteous Jerk products are manufactured in our hometown of Galesburg, Illinois by local talent. All of our ingredients are American, and we're proud of our Midwestern roots.

Always looking for something clean and lean to snack on, Adam was tired of greasy jerky with ingredients that sounded like they belonged in a chemistry set. He set out to create a brand that tasted great and could be enjoyed by jerky lovers.
